Events & Networking

Networking is key to Reveal. We hold regular artists dialogue sessions on the first Wednesday of every month at The Brewhouse, Visual Arts and Media organisations across the county often work in partnership. Reveal partners run seminars and symposia

Reveal Surgery For Artists
Reveal Somerset are offering free one to one creative technology advice sessions for artists at the Engine Room and partner venues during the next six months. Advance booking is essential.

Monthly Artists’ Dialogue Sessions
As part of the Reveal strategy these sessions aim to provide a platform for artists who would like to meet other artists, spark ideas and critically discuss work. In October Reveal were invited to contribute to ‘Street Carpets’, a project aimed at using artists to consult the public on the redevelopment of Taunton High Street. We supported this project by identifying appropriate artists, identifying a film-maker to document the project as well as identifying and supporting the event project manager.

‘Working in partnership with Somerset’s arts organisations proved to be a positive experience during the creative consultation project ‘Street Carpets’.  Somerset Art Works provided sound management/artists, the Brewhouse equipment/artists and Somerset Film the documentary film’.
